Merelyn was a super sister-in-law, very kind, practical and full of fun. I remember one incident in No 1, New Street, the Knight family home. Mother/'Grandma' Winifred was away and we all noticed water dripping from the ceiling. Merelyn was up the staires, investigating and organising while we were all dithering! I also recall many happy get-togethers with various family members, including several grandchildren. We all had great fun and Merelyn's sense of humour enhance these occasions. I remember how good a cook she was, always producing mouth-watering meals with many a useful hint to offer. Philip and I went to Cherbourg for the day with David and Merelyn and Merelyn was quite happy to do the driving. Nothing seemed to faze her. Merelyn, I'll really miss you! Janet
